Last week we finally got some sunshine and our U12, U16 & U18’s were all in action. First up on Monday night the U16 footballers faced Midleton in their third game of the group and served up an enthralling match in Rostellan and were eventually beaten by a strong Midleton side on a score Aghada 2-10 Midleton 3-12.                                                                                                                                                                                        The minor footballers played out a goal filled game on Wednesday night, each time Aghada seemed to get a comfortable lead, Kiltha Óg fought back and with a frantic last few minutes Aghada eventually emerged winners on the narrowest of margins Aghada 5-9 Kiltha Óg 5-8. The hurlers now play Midleton on Wednesday night 1st May in their 4th league game, another huge game not to be missed in Clonmult Park!

And finally it was 4th time lucky as U16 hurlers finally got to play Bride Rovers on Thursday night. This game has been postponed 3 times due to weather so it was inevitable the rain would fall heavy during the second half, none the less the lads put in a great team effort and ran out winners on scoreline Aghada 4-10 Bride Rovers 0-11.

See link for full match reports and thanks to the mentors for these.

Our U8’s, U9’s, U10’s & U11’s are all back training. The U8’s attended a hurling monster blitz in Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh recently and U9’s, 10 & 11’s were at home on Saturday with some fine football matches against Mitchelstown/Ballygiblin, Castlelyons & Fr O’ Neills .
