The next session of GAA FOR ALL takes place at 11:30AM on Saturday morning. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Congratulations / Good Luck:

Congrats to Willie Leahy who won an award for outstanding Maths teachers last weekend. A brilliant achievement Willie, well done.

Congrats also to Sarah Leahy, Rachel Leahy and Roisin Phelan who were part of the Cork Senior Ladies Football team who won the Munster Championship against Kerry last weekend in Killarney.

Well done to Ali Smith who was a member of the Cork Senior Camogie team who won the Munster championship a few weeks ago.

Best of luck to Cormac O’Keeffe who lines out in the IMART Rugby World Cup for Sundays Well over the weekend. A fantastic achievement for Cormac and his family. Best of luck Cormac from all in Aghada GAA club. We are all behind you and hope you enjoy every second of the experience.

Fixtures:

Our intermediate hurlers face Meelin in Rostellan at 5:30pm on Saturday. The lads will be looking to continue their good form in this competition so get down and show your support.

Before our hurlers go into battle, Cork face Louth in the senior football championship at 2pm in Pairc Ui Chaoimh. Cork will be boosted with the minors great win over Kerry on Wednesday evening in the Munster minor final. Best of luck to Brian Walsh who is involved in the backroom team on Saturday. Go and show your support for the rebels if at all possible.

The Imokilly senior footballers face Carbery in the first round of the divisional championship on Thursday next at 7:30pm in Ballincollig. Best of luck our own Eoin O’Neill who is the manager of the team and all the Aghada lads involved. It would be great to get a big crowd up to Baliincollig on Thursday night to support our division who have made great strides on the football front already this year. Hopefully the candy stripes will emerge victorious!

Lotto:

Our club lotto draw took place last night and there was no winner. Full results are attached.

As usual tickets are available online at aghadagaa.com and in all the usual local outlets.

Thanks to everyone who supports our club lotto.

Billy Ahern:

Th annual Billy Ahern Tournament takes place on Bank Holiday Monday (June 6th) from 10am in Rostellan. This tournament is always a fantastic occasion for the youth of our club and a great way to remember Billy. With 7 visiting teams and Aghada taking part it promises to be a brilliant day of football. So why not come down and show your support. You’d never know, you might find the next Séan Powter or David Clifford!

Well sin é!

Bainigí taitneamh as an deireadh seachtaine. Feicfimid sibh sa chlub.

Slán,
