Lotto Relaunch –
Well it’s almost on us. Tomorrow, Thursday, October 1st , sees the 1st draw in our relaunched and revamped Club Lotto. The jackpot for tomorrows draw is €10,000. This will be the minimum jackpot any week and it could rise to a max of €30,000.
Tickets are now available in all the establishments around our parish that have re-opened since the lockdown last March. So pubs, shops, post offices and garages etc all have tickets on sale.
A ticket costs €2.50 to purchase in this manner.
However we also now have options to support the draw online. The online options are €2 or less depending on which one you go for. Currently we have over 170 online tickets for tomorrows draw. And we still have roughly the same number in our yearly blue book. The hope is to increase the combination of these two methods to 500 subscribers in total. So we have had a good start already to our relaunch, but we still want and need more people to help our club by signing up online to subscribe to our Lotto.
Did you know that the very 1st Lotto draw we ever ran was won the 1st night out. By a certain Jim Motherway. A €500 jackpot was the prize that night. Although Johnty swears that The Meeting Place was the real winner of that particular draw!!
So if history repeats itself, someone could be 10k richer tomorrow night! Be in it to win it!! Don’t delay get your ticket now.
Below is the link to sign up online. There will be a cut off at 8pm tomorrow night at which point any online sign ups after that will not be included in the 1st draw.
For the 1st night out the draw will take place at 9pm. As the draws will take place in our clubhouse for the foreseeable of covid, the lucky numbers will be drawn out live via our facebook page. Then all tickets will be checked (off camera), and the results will be posted on social media soon after that is completed.
Thanks to all that are currently supporting this hugely important fundraiser for our club. The Lotto is what will keep the gates open and the pitches ready to go for all hurlers, footballers and camogs. It really is the lifeblood that keeps our facilities up to standard and with this current drive to get more people involved, we hope to plan further developments in the very near future.
