On Saturday the 9th of June, Aghada hurlers travelled to Ballyanley to play Inniscarra in the next round of the Division 2 league. The 1st half was a very low scoring affair, with Aghada leading by 5 points to 3 at the interval, thanks to 5 placed balls, 4 from Aaron Stafford and one from Stevie Keeffe. Aghada dominated the opening exchanges of the second half and with 10 minutes to play had what looked like a comfortable lead of 12 points to 5. Credit to the home side, who battled right to the end, and in the closing stages they hit 1-4 without reply to snatch a draw and both teams left with a share of the spoils.
