Senior Football League Division 4 Aghada 0-10 v St Vincents 1-9

No joy for our senior footballers on Sunday when they travelled to the Northside to play Vincents in the league. 2nd best throughout, the home side led 5pts to 1 at the interval. Playing with the breeze in the 2nd half Aghada did manage to cut the gap to 2 points but never really looked like overhauling their opponents lead. The Vincent’s goal came on 47 minutes which effectively saw them home to claim the 2 league points on offer.
