A Chara,

We have had a huge few weekends over the last few weekends but this weekend goes to another level. We have not one, but TWO County Finals to look forward to and if that wasn’t enough, we also have a massive County Semi Final taking place over Saturday and Sunday.

Up first this weekend, our Premier Junior Camogie team face Bishopstown in the County Final at 1:30pm in Castle Road (Cork Camogie Grounds) on Saturday. This is a massive game for our girls as they aim to reach the intermediate grade in 2026. The team has performed very well all season and have defeated Mallow (twice) and Bishopstown on the way to this final. There’s no doubt that this game will take on a life of its own, so it is crucial that we get a big support up to Castle Road on Saturday afternoon. Please make every effort to support the team and management if you can. Best of luck to all the players, Manager Donal Godfrey and his management team. Tickets are available at the gate.

Once the Camogie game finishes in Castle Road on Saturday, it will be time to hurry down the road to Ballyanly (Inniscarra GAA) where our Intermediate A Hurlers face Aghabullogue at 4pm in the County Semi Final. This is a monumental game for our lads as they aim to reach the final of the competition. Our lads have had a brilliant campaign so far defeating both Erin’s Own and Ballygiblin along with that famous draw against Kildorrery. These results earned us a direct route to the Semi Final of the competition which was key in allowing some time for our lads to rest and recuperate. This is a very big game for the club so please come out and roar our lads on. Best of luck to all the players and the management team. For those who can’t make the game, it will also be streamed live on Clubber. Tickets for this game are ONLINE ONLY and are available at the following link: https://www.universe.com/events/68d3fa6fb757a7002418f0b9

24 hours after the Camogie final, attention turns to Football as our Senior Ladies Footballers are back in the County Final for a second year in a row. Our girls face the same opposition as last year in Éire Óg. The game throws in at 4pm in MTU Cork on Sunday. This is a huge game for our girls as they aim to win the County title for the second year in a row. The girls have had a very good campaign so far defeating St. Vals, O’Donovan Rossa, Clonakility, Castlehaven and Mourneabbey. This game will undoubtedly be their toughest test all year so it is vital we get a huge support up to MTU on Sunday. Please make every effort to support the team and management if you can. Best of luck to all the players, Manager Eric Smith and his management team. Tickets are available at the gate.

In summary, this is as big a weekend as we can remember with three huge games on the horizon. Please make every effort to spread the word and come support our teams over the next few days. Your support will be vital.

Have a great weekend. Here’s hoping it's a very successful one.

Áth Fhada Abú!
