On a beautiful sunny Sunday morning, Aghada Camoige club hosted our U8s blitz. Many of our girls wore the Aghada colours for the 1st time. We had 11 teams playing, 5 pitches simultaneously. Sarfields, Ballygarvan. Iniscarra, Ballincollig each had 2 teams and played 3 games. Aghada had 3 teams ranging in age from 5-8 years old. Well done to the fantastic parents who catered for approx 80 players and their parents and siblings. Thank you to Paula, Ursula, Kevin and Maeve who mentored the girls throughout the morning. Also special mention to our refs for the day, Aisling, Aileen, Mary, Saoirse and Áine. We have fabulous facilities in Aghada and would like to thank Aghada GAA Club for the use of the facilities. Training continues on Wednesday even 6.15om to 7.15om for this age group.
